Organic and fair-trade, this delightful medium roast coffee has a spicy, fragrant aroma and citrus fruit taste, a full bodied coffee with a clean, sweet taste and a light acidity for balance. Made from ethically sourced and fairly traded coffee beans from Peru’s CEPICAFE Cooperative, Central Piurana de Cafetaleros using traditional practices and roasted in the UK.

Formed in 1995 CEPICAFE is an association of small scale cooperatives in North-West Peru with around 3200 producer members. Its aim is to support local families and the sustainable development of the region. Organically grown at altitudes up to 1700 metres and harvested between April and November it is a fully washed, sun-dried coffee. The sale of the crop provides the mechanism to develop training, education and infrastructure improvements.
