This traditional British fire engine has a bright and colourful double-sided design that children will love. It shows fire fighters driving and the detailing on the emergency vehicle, with a natural wood grain edge on the body and wheels. Handcrafted by skilled artisans in Sri Lanka from sustainably sourced rubber wood whilst non-toxic paints are used. Blemishes in the wood should be expected, these are part of the beauty of a natural wood product.

Lanka Kade have direct trading relationships with their producers, and the director regularly travels to Sri Lanka to visit the artisans to ensure fair trade working practices are always being met and maintained. Workers have equal pay and Lanka Kade are committed to ensuring the employees have a sense of job satisfaction.
When you buy a Lanka Kade product, you also help to support their educational foundation which provides books and daily milk drinks to rural schools in Sri Lanka.

Lanka Kade was created with the aim to provide an outlet for small craft enterprises in Sri Lanka. Set up in 1994 by husband and wife team Upul and Diane, Lanka Kade toys and games are designed in the UK and handmade by family-based enterprises based in Sri Lanka, who are supported to grow and develop alongside the Lanka Kade brand. Their distinctive range of wooden educational toys inspire learning through play, helping to developed language and cognitive skills. The bright colours and natural wooden finishes are great for kids.

  Delivered via Evri courier. UK orders will normally be received within 5 working days. Choose this option if you're not in a hurry to receive your order and we'll use the most efficient delivery method possible.
• Express Delivery - £7.95 (Only available for UK delivery)
  Delivered via DPD courier, requires a signature upon delivery. Delivery next working day for orders placed before 2pm (Mon-Fri). This method will require a signature, please ensure somebody will be available to sign. You will also receive tracking alerts via SMS/email from DPD to keep you updated on your delivery.
