Opting for silicone coated paper is an eco-friendly choice for parchment paper. Unlike many leading brands that use quilon, a chemical that contains chrome, a heavy metal that becomes toxic when incinerated and leaves trace elements, silicone coated paper is a safer alternative. This type of parchment paper is made from responsibly sourced unbleached, totally chlorine-free greaseproof paper, which helps to prevent the dumping of chlorine derivatives into lakes and water systems. Additionally, this paper eliminates the need for greasing, saving time during food prep. They are also pre cut to reduce waste with each reusable sheet measuring 12.5" x 16".
Vegan and vegetarian friendly, gluten and allergen free, they are also coated with silicone derived from a natural element, which gives the product its excellent non-stick properties, making it the green option.
Microwave and oven safe up to 428 °F/220 °C.
