Product Description

With flavour notes of hazelnut, caramel and red fruits, this fair trade and organic whole bean coffee is fairly sourced and slow roasted with a Probat, gas-fired drum roaster and Loring smart roast technology, to can ensure consistent roasts time after time. Slow roasting is all about allowing time for the complex reactions to take place, to maximise the development of sweetness by caramelising the natural sugars and maximising the volatile organic compounds and aromatics held within the coffee oils.

ASOPCAFA is a young co-op of 84 members founded in 2013, and located in Aipe, Huila in the South West of Colombia nestled in the Andes, Aipe is surrounded by the Magdalena, Aipe, Baché and Pata rivers.
