Our investigation teams are made up of highly qualified crisis response advisers, whose investigations take them to some of the most dangerous and volatile places on earth. Their work is complex, high-stakes, and often resuIts in the exposure of human rights abuses that shock the world.

Our investigation teams gather first-hand testimonies from victims and witnesses of conflict, people whose stories must be heard.

We tailor activities based on the nature of the conflict and types of human rights abuse. Typical activities might include:

• interviewing witnesses and survivors
• gathering information from a range of local organisations and officials, including military and police
• verifying digital evidence, such as videos and photographs uploaded by witnesses, to expose and corroborate human rights violations.

Your donation will go to Amnesty International UK Section Charitable Trust, a charity registered in England and Wales (no 1051681) and in Scotland (no SCO39534) and a registered company (no 03139939). The Trust funds our UK and global activities to promote human rights. Funds raised for the Trust may only be spent on human rights work that the Charity Commission regards as charitable under UK law.
