Picture by British artist and human rights campaigner Dan Jones, whose father helped launch Amnesty in 1961, and has been part of the organisation ever since. In 2001, Dan was awarded an MBE for services to international human rights, and was nominated as a local hero and reached the finals of the 14th Pride of Britain Awards.
