Artwork designed by Australian Aboriginal author Sally Morgan, who's family was part of Australia's Stolen Generation and until the age of 15, was led to believe that she was of Indian descent. This experience of hidden origins and her subsequent quest for identity were the inspiration for her 1987 autobiography, My Place. In 1986, she held her first exhibition at the Birukmarri Gallery in Fremantle, and now her striking works are on display around the world.
