Zaytoun Extra Virgin olive oil is ethically sourced from small-scale farmers in the West Bank. With a warm, peppery taste, this olive oil is produced with rain-fed and hand-picked olives, connecting you with farmers whose ancestors have tended their trees for countless generations. Perfect for cooking, dips, and dressings.Please note, due to a bad olive harvest this year in Palestine, and a surge in demand in the UK, Zaytoun are facing stock shortages of Certified Fairtrade and Organic olive oil.
In the meantime, the producer members of the Palestine Fair Trade Association supply chain who are not certified, are keen to maintain the export market for Palestinian olive oil and the crucial link established for more than 15 years with UK customers.
Please be assured that while non-certified, this Palestinian Extra Virgin Olive Oil is still fairly traded and predominantly organically grown, with the great taste and high quality production.
