The wire and beadwork on each bottle is made by hand at Cape Mental Health Society, which is a work-haven for the mentally handicapped from the townships around Cape Town and represents the traditional neck rings that some African women wear. Everything about the sauce is Fair Trade and each bottle has an engaging traveller’s tale on the back of the bottle.
