Wooden Playing Card Box

Handmade in India this wooden playing card box with a carved brass inlay heart is made with Sheesham wood which is a fast growing luxurious wood which takes approximately 4-5 years to grow and is sustainably sourced from authorised timber mills in India under government protection.

Made by a Fair Trade organisation in Moradabad, Northern India which was founded in 1986 in response to the exploitation of poor artisans in this area, with a current infrastructure that supports over 500 artisans.
