This organic cotton tea towel design features the iconic photograph taken by Herbert Ponting during the 1910-1913 British Antarctic Expedition, showing the Terra Nova ship from within an iceberg, which Ponting considered his best work. Combined with a quote from the famous explorer Robert Swan who was the first person ever to walk to both the North and the South Poles, it shows us the fragile and tenuous relationship between humanity and nature and how important the Antarctic ice sheets are for human survival.
This tea towel is made of strong, unbleached organic cotton, stitched on all four sides with a textured finish. Hanging loop attached. Printed with colour-fast ink that won't run in the wash.
Made in the UK
100% organic cotton

We recommend that before you use your tea towel for the first time you wash it at least once to soften up the material and make it more absorbent for drying dishes. Please note size can vary slightly.
