Handmade by the Dalit people of India this fair-trade candle is made using natural beeswax blended with a floral jasmine fragrance, the candles comes in an elegant clay pot reminiscent of the vases widely seen in homes and garden in India.

Dalit Goods works to support the Dalit people in India, often regarded as the lowest class of people. Dalit works particularly closely with street children to ensure they are given a good education.

Dalit Goods were born from the urgent need to help and support some of the poorest communities in India. Named after the ‘Dalits’ or ‘Oppressed’ people, who have been positioned at the bottom of India’s’ caste system for over 3000 years, Dalit Goods sell the handmade Candles and clay pots made by skilled people living in Dharavi.

Sourcing quality potting clay and using hand-poured bees wax, each item is lovingly crafted by skilled workers and packaged in biodegradable cardboard.

Buying a candle helps to shine a light in the lives of some of the poorest states in India.

  Delivered via Evri courier. UK orders will normally be received within 5 working days. Choose this option if you're not in a hurry to receive your order and we'll use the most efficient delivery method possible.
• Express Delivery - £7.95 (Only available for UK delivery)
  Delivered via DPD courier, requires a signature upon delivery. Delivery next working day for orders placed before 2pm (Mon-Fri). This method will require a signature, please ensure somebody will be available to sign. You will also receive tracking alerts via SMS/email from DPD to keep you updated on your delivery.
• On orders over £75 (excludes digital products) standard delivery is FREE and next day delivery is only £5.95
