Founder Steve van Bommel overhauled his established family toy business when he was challenged by his daughter about the environmental impact of plastic kids toys. Realising that things should and could be done differently, Brommel poured 5 years hard work into finding a bio based material that would replace plastic in their blocks. In 2017, BiOBUDDi was launched and has gained much attention since, winning several awards. These brightly coloured blocks are perfect for kids, encouraging creative, social and motor skills.
