This striking artwork comes from a wider series, highlighting Palestinians’ right to a dignified, free and safe life. It was created by Lebanese-Danish graphic designer and illustrator Annamay Khoury Wulff for Amnesty Denmark. ‘While the reality behind the messages are bleak, there is an emphasis on holding on to hope, and using its energy to continue fighting for human rights,’ she says. The series has gained international recognition, winning a Communication Arts Illustration Award 2026. Amnesty is campaigning to end Israeli apartheid.
